日本語では

と書いたつもりです。

He got married, but his parents didn’t know that微妙にニュアンスが違うかな。結婚していたが、その事実を両親は知らなかった。
He had been married before his parents knew.
He was the marrying to J??Jって誰？for Goldゴールドってなに？
His parents admiredって？　＾＾；

こんな風にも訳せます。
＞He married without the knowledge of his parents.

*his parents didn't knowのことをthe knowledge of his parentsにした。

City’s captureと所有格を使うと訳しやすくなる。The guerrilla bands
captured the city, and that threw〜という意味を短くするために所有格。
