Let's discuss anti-Japan of Koreans in English

This thread is for discussing anti-Japan activities of Koreans in ENGLISH
and taking action against their comments on youtube and so on.
Why don't you join us if you are interested in our activity?
It doesn't matter about your English skill as long as you have the feeling
that you want to correct Korean injustice. Japanese have believed
that there is value in being quiet, but being quiet isn't the best way
to solve the problem in front of the the world.
It's about time we disputed them =)
**Reminder**
Before posting a comment on youtube or any bulletin boards
against anti-Japan Korean activists, please let us know the URL here
so that we can assist you. And In this thread Japanese language is
strictly forbidden in order to improve your English skill.

useful words and expressions (6)

Japan has already compensated Korea and Korean people for WW2 with $8 million
when the Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and the Republic of Korea
was made in 1965 and apologized to Korea by numerous ex-prime ministers
for the past 40 years.

But Korean spent the compensation of $800 million for infrastructure
such as roads, bridges, water system and factories and didn't tell the compensation
from Japan to Korean citizen. Koreans say that Korean economy development
called Miracle on the Han River was achived by themselves, but it's wrong.
Without Japanese technology assistance and compensation, it was impossible.
Japan doesn't have any obligigation about apology and compensation anymore
and finished responsibility to Korea.

You might think why I made this thread, though the thread about anti-Japan already exsists
on this bulletin board. First of all, I'd like to let you know the defference between this thread
and the one about anti-Japan is the used languages. I'm personally convinced
that our English skill will be improved dramatically if we discuss anti-Japan in ENGLISH, not Japanese.
And in a thread "Let's chat in English" people frequently bring up anti-Japan activities of Koreans.
It's no problem, but some people don't like the theme in that thread, so to prevent that thread
from dispute I also made this thread. And I'm not good at English, if you find any strange expressions
and misspellings on "useful words and expressions", please let me know.
I hope you'll understand my idea.

$800 million are not enough at all.
The Japanese must deeply regret what they did more.
It is an undeniable fact that they butchered too many Korean people.
It'll never remissible forever.

>>19

This is somewhat true. The war crimes of Japan in Manchuria and Korea's Annexation
are truly horrific, but one must also consider forgiveness. Many of the war criminals,
if not all, have received their proper punishment and have died in shame.

There are two sides to this, in the present:

1) The Japanese Government at times seems to pretend the crimes never happened.
'Whitewashing' history books, downplaying the damages, changing actions
like 'invaded' to 'advanced', and 'slaughtered' into 'pacified'.

This is a great disrespect.

2) When Korean's wish for compensation, they wish for money and sincere apologies.

You think that you can measure the pain of the dead with money?
That you think that money is all you need to forgive, that is also a great action of disrespect,
for yourselves.

>>19
No. it's not true at all and totally deniable thing.
Is there any evidence? There is no photos, bones, isn't it? If there is, show us!

Additionally, Japan has already paid and Korea accept it and signed not to reclaim any MORE.
You underestimate how much $800 million means at that time.

>>21

The Japanese Government is guilty of destroying evidence, at least in the first decade following the war.

You must prove it.

Ichiro Ozawa is a Korean.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWc5299z1E4

Please check out 3:12

Ozawa : "The Japanese, vermin, who live a life depending on others and Asia
will just increase as long as Japanese aren't mixed with blood of a great race like Koreans
Because Japanese cultural level is basically inferior."

Now I got it. The reason why Minshutou, Democratic Party of Japan, was so insistent
to make a child benefit bill cleared the Diet is because the benefit is supposed to cover foreign children
of foreigners who live in Japan. If a foreigner in Japan is a Muslim who has a habit of polygamy and numerous children
the situation wi'll be more troublesome and Japan will have to pay numerous money to the world's children bottomlessly.
but the benefit doesn't cover Japanese children who is living in a foreign country.
Japan must be a cult of a country called "Yuuai kyou". sigh....

>>115
Look at >>7
Anti-Japan sentiment in Korea is just to get more money and apology from Japan
so that Koreans can get rid of the inferiority complex that Korea was ruled by Japan.
As you can see at >>7 Japan has aleready apologized and compensated to Korea
and Japan's respponsibility is already over. in fact 65 years has already passed
since WW2 finished, but they are still demanding over and over again like beggars.
so, Anti-Japan activities of Koreans shouldn't be allowed anymore.
The more they demonstrate to Japan, the more Korean haters in Japan will just increase.
Their deeds are far away from construtive things to make good relationship between Japan and Korea
and their insane activities are just beyond understanding like this videoes :

Besides, I actually doubt.. if Anti-Japan is used as a nown.
(Strictly saying, it might be a nown, but it's not usually used as a nown.

I guess it's rather close to an adjective..I believe,
because it's rarely used on its own, but always used with some kind of subsequent(following) word,
such as "Anti-Japan sentiment", "Anti-Japan movement" ..

If you have a good ear, you must detect it..

But if you doubt such usage, please see this "search result"-
http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=UTF-8&fr=yfp-t-701&p=china+anti+japan&rs=1&fr2=rs-bottom
Can you see any examples in which "Anti-Japan" or "Anti-Japanese" is
used solely, without any other ..subsequent nown?)

I think it might be both adjective/..nown
but it's closer to an adjective

A long title is not allowed in this bulltein board when you make a new thread.

Koreans are definitely superior to Japanese.
Because the dried laver seaweed tastes great.

150 Hahaha.
-But please closely look at your links... I don’t know why you’re so attention-deficit!???
It's apparently shown! The website in which "anti-Japan is"..etc..are used are-
all..East-Asians made websites!-..which seem to be written by Koreans, Chinese, Japanese or 2channelers..
(It actually means, it's kind of common mistake that East Asians tend to make..And maybe now you know why!)
Though it might not be strictly a mistake..native speakers don't use that way,
..Therefore you cannot see it in Western websites at all. That't another evidence.

And also the same thing is said about the second search result..about 'Anti-US'.
-Since you see the 1st and 2nd links in the list are created by Asians, therefore the word 'Anti-US' is used
kind of wrongly (like a noun..!?)

But if you see the excerpts of other Western website links, you can see
In each of the lines 'Anti-US' is not used as a noun, but adjectives,
such as-

e.g..
"The Futurist: Who Hates America? - [ このページを訳す ]
…”By your logic, the suggestion that France or Pakistan is anti-US is also not valid"

"To classify a country as 'anti-U.S.' is to consider it an enemy of.."

"Supporting such regimes or their currently available analogs just because they are not "anti-US" is rather short-sighted."

"To classify a country as 'anti-U.S.' is to consider..."

"all politics is anti > US, is suggestive of the ..."

(...All of above usages of the words are adjectives!! or complements ..補語!! none of them are nouns)..

(-And if you also see this one..) ↓

"SURGE OF US IMAGE IMPLIES HAVING HILLARY CLINTON AS A SCAPEGOAT ... - [ このページを訳す ]
26 Jul 2009 ... Obama advisers have enthusiastically proclaimed that “the anti-US is no longer fashionable,” and..."

↑You must notice why the article “the” is putted before “anti-US” in this case..
Maybe because they (Westerners) feel absolutely uneasy.. without putting the article “the”.., because it’s adjective!!

If there is conscience in the world, people understand who is right.

but first, I have to study English more and more.....orz

switch its consumption of Tuna to Jellyfish by banning
the fishing tuna.

While I do this, anti-Japan power go on holding some anti-Japan energy and attacking Japan.

He said, "I want your dog," and then he took it!
He's probably eating it right now. My dog, "Takashi Miike", is now a Korean meal.

English is very difficult and a lot of people can't have logical thinking mind.
Even if we discuss various history problems in Japanese ,
they don't understand logic.

They shall not understand any logic, which doesn't exist there.

Sorry....I can't understand your sentence. I'm poor at English.

english is not the same word order as Japanese
I think this is the biggest reason why most japanese are not very good at english

I wonder why the Koreans are far better at English than the Japanese despite
the fact that the word order of their language also is different from English?

I think their society requires English more than the Japanese society
requires Englis, besides there are more Korean immigrants than Japanese
immigrants in those English speaking countries.

I have studied English for a long time but my English skill is almost no
needed in Japan. So now writting and reading English has become just my hobby.

Since Eglish is not something that I can make for a living I kind of giving
up on studying it.

I dont think koreans are so much better at english than japanese
but if there's an advantage of koreans in learning english , it is just their shameless mind!!!
they dare to speak in broken english everywhere without worrying about mistakes.
it may be that this is the only thing that japanese must learn from koreans

When I visit English web sites there are always just few Japanese people there
compair to Korean people, besides most of them are American born Koreans or
have moved to America since they were child so I really can not argue with them.

>>221
I think Koreans are more aggressive than Japanese in general and I think it's a good
part of them (their aggressiveness is not good for Japanese though).

Well,it seems this thread is almost no use unfotunately.

Hey guys, just so you know I'm an English speaker- a native one.

A lot of people in my country (Canada) think that Korea makes some cool music, like Super Junior, SHINee, or MBlaq.
What do you think of these bands? Does Japan have similar pop bands? I know you guys have J-Rock like Dir en Grey or
The Gazette, etc., but what about the pop music?

WHERE IS THE POP MUSIC JAPAN?

Oh btw we don't care about Korea otherwise. It's just the cool music.

It's not "cool" or "music." A mass-produced, comercialized crap is what it is.
Made in Korea or elsewhere, it's the same crap that we don't care for.

Cheap, low-quality, Asian imitations of American boy bands from 15 years ago....

What can they be anything but a big embarrassing joke?

And it's not like anyone would listen to the original American boy bands seriously to begin with.

Those bands are exclusively for airheaded screaming low teen girls who don't know better.

No redeeming quality whatsoever other than catering to such audiences.
